The Address Book for a Law Firm contains every single contact ever created. It’s essential to keep this Address Book up to date and avoid multiple duplicates and erroneous entries. The TrialWorks Admin should get into a habit of running the Automatic De-Dupper once a month to clean up duplicates.
How to Run Auto Run Contact De-Dupper
(Admin User Only)
Make sure users are not logged onto TrialWorks and have closed the program. We recommend running this feature toward the end of the day to ensure users are not logged on.
Start by selecting Admin Tools>Other Tasks
Select Auto Run Contact De-Dupper option
A Security Warning will pop up, click Okay and Run De-Dupper
The Auto Run Contact De-Dupper option will only remove 100% true duplicates from the system. The Admin user has the option to always run the Manual De-Dupper to clean up contacts.
