Lost a Window? Use Windows Shortcut “ALT-Tab” to Find It!

In TrialWorks Tips by trialworks

How many of us open multiple windows simultaneously? How many times have you thought that your screen was “frozen,” only to find that there was a dialog box open somewhere behind the scenes?

Use Windows Shortcut ALT-Tab to scroll through your open windows and find the culprit.

Here’s How It Works:

From your Windows keyboard, simply press the ALT key and the TAB key at the same time. If you’re like me, you’ll see multiple windows running as demonstrated below:

Press the Tab Key to scroll through the various windows until you find the application you need, and then release the ALT-Tab keys. Voila! The missing window is now available to you.

Beyond just finding missing applications or open dialog boxes behind-the-scenes, using the ALT-Tab keys is also a great shortcut for your work!
