Creating Templates with Automated Docket Reminders

In TrialWorks Tips by trialworks

Wouldn’t it be nice if you were automatically reminded to follow up on a letter you’ve sent out requesting medical records or any other type of template? Whether it’s a letter, pleading or discovery, let TrialWorks be your reminder by linking all of your templates and the Docket!

First, make sure that the Reminder Docket fields on your Medical Record Request template has (1) the number of days from the date of your letter that you want to follow up; and (2) the number of days before the actual follow up date that you want the reminder to appear on your Reminders List. See below:

Second, create your Medical Record Request letter! (Be sure to fill in all of the important fields!)

Once you’ve created your medical record request, the checkbox next to the Requested Medical Records will be automatically populated for you!

And let’s take it one step further … once the medical records are actually received, TrialWorks will automatically populate the “Received Medical Records” checkbox for you, too!

Multiple tasks accomplished in one-step.

And look what happens next! An automatic Add to Docket pops up, preset for deadline date and reminder date calculated from the date of your letter.  Here’s what it looks like:
